Savoyai 1736-ban bekövetkezett halála után a birtok a koronáé lett, a következő századra pedig az épület elvesztette eredeti szerepét. Használták raktárnak és magtárnak is, sőt, az 1960-as évekre már olyan rossz állapotba került, hogy csaknem összedőlt. Az 1970-es években felújították, de mivel az eredeti tervek nem voltak meg, ezért csak a megmaradt elemekből és analógiákból tudtak következtetni, hogy milyen lehetett egykor. Savoyai Castle is located in Ráckeve, Pest County. It was made for Jenő Savoyai in the early 18th century based on the plans of Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt. After the death of Savoy in 1736, the estate became the crown, and by the next century the building had lost its original role. It was also used as a warehouse and granary, in fact, by the 1960s it was in such poor condition that it almost collapsed. It was renovated in the 1970s, but since the original plans were not there, they could only deduce from the remaining elements and analogies what it might have once been like.

N	Norbert Dul on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Savoyai-kastély Ráckeve egyik emblematikus épülete az 1700 évekből... ... sajnos csak kívülről, ugyanis Savoyai Jenő (1736) halála után jóformán folyamatosan csak kallódik. Fennállása alatt több alkalommal szinte az összedőlés szélére kerül. A belső terek javarészt eredeti szerkezetüket megőrizték, de berendezésük, díszítésük az idők folyamán elveszett, megsemmisült. A felújítások alkalmával a takarékosság volt az irányadó. Utoljára szállodaként próbálták üzemeltetni, sajnos sikertelenül, igy jelenleg zárva van, ismét csak pusztul. Sajnos a kastély belső udvara nem látogatható. Savoy Castle is one of the iconic buildings of Ráckeve from the 1700s ... ... unfortunately only from the outside, because after the death of Jenő Savoyai (1736) he is almost constantly falling apart. Several times during its existence, it is almost on the verge of collapse. The interiors have mostly preserved their original structure, but their equipment and decoration have been lost and destroyed over time. During the renovations, thrift was the norm. It was last tried to operate as a hotel, unfortunately unsuccessfully, so it is currently closed, again only destroyed. Unfortunately, the inner courtyard of the castle cannot be visited.

H	Hans Schafitel (Hansa) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auf unserer Radreise 2013 entlang der Donau zum Schwarzen Meer radelten wir auch durch Ráckeve und entdeckten das Schloss von „Prinz Eugen zu Savojen“. Hier unser kleiner Reisaebericht: Erst nach Tököl nimmt der starke Verkehr ab und wir radeln auf kleinen Landstraßen, die auch gleichzeitig den Donaudamm bilden, weiter in Richtung Szegetujfalu nach Rackeve. Hier steht das Schloss von „Prinz Eugen zu Savojen“ und die einzige serbisch-orthodoxe Kirche Ungarns. Wir fertigten auch hier einige Bilder und stellten am Ortsschild fest, dass Rackeve die Partnergemeinde von Waghäusl ist. Nach einer Fisch- bzw. Erbsensuppe verlassen wir um 13.50 Uhr Rackeve wieder, gelangen über eine Brücke auf die linke Seite des Kanals „Rackevei-Duna“ und haben einen herrlichen Blick auf die Stadt. On our 2013 cycle tour along the Danube to the Black Sea, we also cycled through Ráckeve and discovered the castle of "Prinz Eugen zu Savojen". Here is our little travel report: Only after Tököl does the heavy traffic decrease and we cycle on small country roads, which also form the Danube dam, in the direction of Szegetujfalu to Rackeve. Here is the castle of "Prince Eugene of Savoy" and the only Serbian Orthodox church in Hungary. We also made some pictures here and found on the place name sign that Rackeve is Waghäusl's partner community. After a fish or pea soup, we leave Rackeve again at 1:50 pm, cross a bridge to the left side of the “Rackevei-Duna” canal and have a wonderful view of the city.
