The memorial site of Lőrinc Scherg, who was of Bavarian origin and contracted by Lajos Wittelsbach, together with his companions, introduced professional forest management here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scherg Lőrinc erdőmester síremléke amely szèpen karbantartott és könnyen megközelíthető ezen a túraùtvonalon. Ha vki erre felé jár szerintem megéri meglàtogatni és egy kis infót kapni ki is volt ő. Mi a Farkas erdő főbejárata felől mentūnk be ahol egyébként parkoló is van.
The tomb of forest master Lőrinc Scherg, which is beautifully maintained and easily accessible on this hiking trail. If that's the way to go, I think it's worth a visit and get some info on who he was. We entered from the main entrance of the Wolf Forest where there is a parking lot anyway.
