★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aki a Bükk-fennsíkra szeretne menni túrázni, vagy csak egyszerűen kikapcsolódni, az nagy valószínűséggel itt, a Sebesvízi-úton (vagy Jávorkúti úton) fog felmenni autóval, bringával. A Nagy-fennsík felé ez a legközelebbi út. Lillafüredtől a Pisztrángtelep felé kell jönni Ómassa felé a Vadas Jenő sétányon kb. 2,5 km-t, majd egy balkanyarral letérni erről az útról, és áthajtani a Garadna patak feletti kis hídon, ill. a kisvasútsíneken. Ott ismét balra felfelé megy az aszfaltút, aminek az elején áll ez az őrház. Régebben még itt pihenőpadok voltak, ismertetőtábla, és egy sorompó is; mostanra már csak a ház maradt meg. De azért az őrház lépcsőjére még le lehet ülni, ha az ember nagyon kifulladt. Egyes kerékpárversenyek rajtpontja is ez a hely.
