We spent 4 nights there. I had some great and a few bad experience. Good ones: - the waiters are great and funny. The staff is nice and helpful. - the view is awesome! Especially from rooms on the pool side. Though the elevator could ruin the sight. Bad ones: - pools are too shallow to swim, and too little to be enjoyable - the Food!!! It is maximum mediocre. - it is way too expensive for the hotel's current state. - drinks: for breakfast everyone can have a few really bad juice and coffee... For dinner: nothing! Even water is too expensive... If you like nice view, go and have some. Enjoy it for one day, maximum two. Btw it could be improved! It could be really a 4Star hotel... Just spend some money on the hotel and start thinking on all-inclusive.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Would love to live there, or enjoy that wellness at least once a week. And their head masseur is from India and he gave the best aroma therapy relax massage I've ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Great dinner also at their gourmet Swedish Table with candlelight... Lovely day we had. ???

Fantastic spa hotel over looking the Danube and is worth visiting if you find it, don't forget to try the bobsled just across the road

Built and left alone, used as a money pit by the owners… The staff is great though, and they do try to make the best out of it. But even with it’s magnificent location can’t help the fact that you are essencially revisiting a dead era, and a business left to die on its own. The food was terrible btw.

Do not come to this hotel!!! In the rooms you can hear every other room, like there is no door at all. There is no hot water, just warm one with a weak water pressure that makes u have a shower for hours. The stuff try to be kind but there is no good management and everyone is slow and it cant be done anything properly. There is a pillow menu wow, but there are no pillows in the hotel. Rooms are not cleaned until you ask for it. AC is slow even a window is better. There is no thermal water, the pools and saunas are so small that you have to wait in the queue to use it. Everything is old and not worth it at all. They ruined our weekend.

I really advise - stay away from this hotel. Why ? It’s my story about short visit there. On the arrival time we said , that instead two nights we would like to stay one night. Simple to make a change - Booking.com not made us any problems and we change reservation. For free. After our check - out (few hours after we left a hotel) Reception called me and asked for extra 12 euro for this operation (changed reservation fee) It’s a shame , because when i paid 240 euro per night , i had confirmation , that date change is free , reception called after 7 hours and Asked for card details because they had a cost and i must pay. Ok i paid , just because i’m honest guy / but hotel are not honest. They should to make it during check out. Next issue : Air conditions in room are big fake. Be sure , that in hot days you will boil in your room because of warm and humidity. Hotel are during renovation (not rooms but one of restaurant) Furthermore , hotel look like in middle of 80’ with same as this time an attitude to customer. Food and wine are poor and don’t be surprised , that for water you will be not have a glasses. No quality service as well (they can’t say you which wine are on the menu) Except a fantastic view - nothing is worth of the very , very high price. At this moment - one star , star for a view (same view as on many other places close - as castle) All other issues make me a really bad feeling about this place (without AC , attempt of selling me extra wine bottle and decorations like in 1976) Total conclusion is - This is very expensive hotel witn Nothing attitude to customer , poor service and counting only for money. Shame! I love hungary and hungarian hospitality , but this hotel are big misunderstanding) Stay away!

Quality of the food is top, including every single item of breakfast & dinner, no matter what You chose, with an expert service, extremely kind and caring. I can just give my hugest recommendations, rooms are neat & tidy with a breathtaking view to river Danube.
