1. They took our order incorrectly, missing one of our fried fish. 2. They guy bringing out the food acts like deaf, did not respond to or acknowledge our questions regarding the soup and was hard to get his attention regarding our missing order. 3. When it turned out that they did forget my fried fish, they accused my wife not placing the order in the first place. (We ordered two fish and one soup.) 4. They offered to make my order by putting it at the bottom of their list. (Although they did deny this when we left, they explicitly mentioned that they will make it only after they finished all the open orders.) 5. They denied us the possibility to make a written complaint; it was only heard by one of the ladies who claimed herself to be the proprietor of the business. 6. They made the totally empty promise to get us a free fish next time. We have not received a voucher, they did not take our names; they simply thought us to be that gullible. It was among the better places to have some fish at Siófok, but this service level is unacceptable even compared to the famously subpar standards of the Balaton. (The owner'a reply illustrates my point pretty well: denying what was said and done, insulting, judging and blaming me and my wife while my opinion revolves around me not being able to buy their service and how it was handled. It was handled the exact same way as my opinion here. BTW, my wife, who invited me to this mishandled lunch, is perfectly capable of handling matters on her own, without being "sent". I had no intention to make a complaint on the spot, I had more than enough from the staff's painfully unpleasant attitude.)

The best fishy meals in whole Hungary! Small calm place in the harbour of Siófok. All of traditional hungarian fish foods can be ordered here. The fried bream and the catfish soup are must try dishes!!!

Their gray cod were really tasty tho the bartender guy were kinda neglective otherwise the hospitality and the waitress were kind

Not bad for a snack, but I wouldn't really recommend this place. The fish soup wasn't bad though. I think you can find better restaurants near this place.

An iconic terrace grill at Siófok/Széplak. Good place for a quick and nice dinner on reasonable prices and by friendly service and atmosphere.
