BCN is a property management and rental company that has many properties for rent. I rented a great appartment for an reasonable price. Maintenance was done quickly and very well when I complained about mold in the bathroom. They installed a ventilator and even repainted the whole bathroom. They are easy to reach and always follow up on what's agreed beforehand. Recommendable for long term rent, but they also have short term holiday rentals.

It was very unpleasant working with this company. I'm not going to go into details since there are many reviewers with similar experiences to mine. I wish I had read the reviews before renting from them. I'd suggest to rename the company to Scam-BCN *ba-dum-tss* I really hope they work on their brand asap, otherwise the company will not last much longer.

Better late then Never. I am writing this review after almost 7-8 months. I promised to myself that i will do this before leaving Budapest for sure. This review will help all those who are new and will get trapped by this company. One of the worst Real state company i dealt with in my life time. The company is full of liars, they will give you incomplete and incorrect information while renting property from them and later put on incorrect charges. Highly recommended not to deal with them. It was a nightmare for me to rent a apartment from them. Thankfully the owner of my apartment was a nice man who helped me give all my deposit back as these guys were not even ready to return the deposit. Please find below my experience. * i booked a flat from them in Rozsa Utca for 450 Euros which initially they said that i can pay it in HUF and later charged their own conversion rates. * They never gave any bills and charged 25k -35K every month for expenses. even though they said that all the expenses will be based on the actual bills. * They gave a faulty fan in the apartment and later said that they will send a handyman to fix it. The handyman came and took the fan and repaired and handed over the fan to them. They charges me for the handyman expenses and for keeping the fan in their own office. * The apartment i rented had paints falling off and cement was visible which they said that they will fix before i move in. I stayed in that apartment for 11 months and they never got that fixed. * If you ask them a question they will never respond appropriately and will treat you worst if you go to their office. * At the end when my nightmare got over and i was vacating the apartment they said they will take a month or two to return the advance i paid them as they have to get everything validated from bills to all. Thankfully my apartment owner helped me to get all the money back. Even the owner of the apartment understood that they are liars and cancelled his contract with them. Last but not the least go to Facebook marketplace or Ingathlan or any other place but these guys to look for an apartment if you do not want trouble for all your staying period.

I was lucky to stay in one of the best apartments in Budapest, there were hiccups here and there with the admin, but remained cordial/responsive. The venue was wonderful and excellent price/quality-wise!

I wish I would have read the reviews before getting into business with this agency. Nevertheless, I was a tenant in one of their properties for a year. When me and my flatmates moved in, no one from the office came to check anything. The flat wasn't given to us cleaned nor inspected by them. We transferred the existing lease at the time between the previous tenants and us upon email instructions from the agency. We basically did everything ourselves. Including the transfer of the deposit. We gave it to the previous tenants as we replaced them. At the end of our lease, we tried to do the checkout with them (as it should be) but they said they were so busy so they ended up doing themselves god knows when, we were never notified and they did it way after the last day we were there. We cleaned the place, ourselves, it was okay. After that, we were charged for 23 HOURS OF CLEANING (69000ft) and when we asked for receipts, they said they couldn't provide them. It's okay they hired a cleaning company, but 23 hours of cleaning was obviously strange. We were charged for many things that were already there before but how can we know? Who knows when was the last time they went to check the flat. While I lived there, they never did and according to the previous tenants, they never visited them either. During the one year we had a contract with them, we had 4 different representatives and each one wanted to do things differently and when the new one would contact us, it seemed like what had happened before was not communicated. They would ask different sorts of documents. So the agency prove itself to be very unorganized and unprofessional. By the end they took money from us based on many things that we could never prove nor fight and I think they know that. They charged us for "forgotten things they had to clean" but that apartment had a lot of stuff before we moved in and of course we left it there. I am not blaming each representative. It's the agency and the way they work. All the reviews prove that. This was my experience with them. We also realized they were charging higher calculations for the utilities. I regret very much having done business with them and I guess I'm not the first one (as per the other reviews).

AVOID. Negative Super hungarian mentality, (in a bad way), they try to trick anyone with anything they can... make you pay extra for unnecessary things, yet don't care about anything that actually needs to be fixed. They are not respectful at all towards tennants. (Especially to foreigners) They are simply unprofessional. All the employees are just unfair, rude and unprofessional. Especially M*ria and P*etra. ?

AVOID! I rented a flat with this company and it was anything but easy. They have exceptionally high prices and in return provide a inconsistant and frustrating service. They most definitely take advantage of foreign people/students and charge well over the Hungarian norm. The prices for the utilities are very questionable and demand to be paid in cash at the office. It was an absolute battle to get a new washing machine for the flat I was renting when the one that was there was more less unusable. Upon leaving the flat they charged for cleaning that was totally unnecessary because the flat had been deep cleaned before the check out, to put the cherry on the cake it took 3 months to get the deposit back. All in all a horrible company to deal with and I count my blessings that I never have to deal with them again.
