It is very difficult to approach, there is no way there - from any direction. Not even 500 meters from Route 65, but I wasn’t determined enough to wade in 2-meter-long corn-sprouting corn. Maybe in spring or autumn, when there is no vegetation on it and there is not too much mud. Then this autumn I tried again. Now the vegetation had been cleared from large boards and was easily accessible from the road. Between two high hills a ruin stands at the southern end of a slightly lower hill. The former forests of the adjacent high hills must have been obscured from everyone who didn’t know where to look. The packet, which is still leaking in the deep valley bottoms, irrigates the vegetation. Today’s wide bustle, swampy strip of south and west may once have been an impenetrable swamp, which could have defended both the church and the village perfectly. From the ruin the tower stands at high altitude. Its corners have been repaired in several places with new bricks, so it is now quite solid.

It's already an adventure to get there, but it's worth it!

It can be approached from the agricultural dirt road north of it, after several days of drought. By car, it is worth stopping right next to the 65 and walking, because the dirt road is also more difficult terrain, and then there is arable land. The ruin itself is walkable in 5 minutes, interesting, beautiful, but that’s all.

On the road marked in red you can go smoothly to the church. Obviously in rain / after rain you need a more serious SUV, but in dry weather I think you can go on the indicated road with anything ...

Autumn wet weather is very baggy how to approach. I was confident that the land had not yet been plowed so that we could get in easily. Unfortunately, this was not fulfilled because the part between the road and the church was fresh deep plowing. I’ve almost let go of it when the plow is over a little further. Here we parked quickly and got down the reeds easily all the way to the reeds. Here we managed to find the trampled passage, while on the other side we reached the church on a fresh grain field. I love such deserted, ghostly places.
