A kolostortemplom gondnoka hívta fel rá figyelmünket, de bemenni nem sikerült. Beautiful Arpad-era church in the center of Sopronbánhida in a well-kept courtyard. The courtyard gate was open so I could go around the temple. The monastery church caretaker drew our attention, but we could not enter.

Mindenképpen érdemes megnézni ha erre járunk. Sajnos az épület zárva van, de a kertkapu csak behajtva, így az nyitható. This small church is hidden in Bánfalva in silence. It is one of the very few Romanesque buildings to this day. Definitely worth a look if you go for it. Unfortunately the building is closed, but the garden gate is only opened so it can be opened.

This church follows the pattern of village medieval churches, not compared to Jáki or Lébényi. It is still guarding its shape and classic orientation. Interestingly, the tower adhering to the western wall of the church, which is similar to the chimney. It is not located in the center of Sopron, but in the Bánfalvai section.

De itt az is eredeti, gótikus kőtornyocska a 14. század elejéről. Church of Mary Magdalene in Sopronbánfalva at Malompatak u. Original working Gothic church. It is first mentioned in 1397, but was certainly built before 1291, probably still in the 12th century. In a position suitable for a parish church, a well-oriented, free-standing fenced building. I think there was a cemetery around it. A simple, late Romanian ship with the associated 15th-century Gothic, vaulted polygon sanctuary and, like Nógrádsáp, a tower planted on the west wall. But here it is also an original Gothic stone tower from the early 14th century.
