Swimming outside in winter or summer in natural warm water is fun and healthy :)

Thermal bath is something incredible! You've got to try it to understand how great it is.

Great place for a weekend getaway, great handicap access and nice water and saunas but saunas cost extra.

A little too expensive for what it's worth, but thermal lake with naturally hot water is impressive.

Swimming outside in winter in natural warm water is fun :-) The lake is also nice because of the water lilies growing all year long.

Horrible service. Nobody speaks English (or Russian for that matter) even though Russian and English speakers are numerous among their clientele. We went in and told them we wanted to buy tickets for the lake, and they told us this was the place (even though it was just a mineral pool, and not the lake itself). So we bought four tickets, only to discover this was not the lake but the same type of pool we had at our hotel. The staff was rather dismissive and would not refund us the money even though it was their fault for misleading us. They ruined our day.

The unique thermal lake in the crater of the volcano is covered with stunningly beautiful scarlet water lilies, among which it is pleasant to swim at any time of the year, as in the summer the water temperature is 36 degrees, and in winter it does not drop below 25 degrees.

We didn’t know exactly what to expect of the thermal lake. But it was a nice experience. The sulfur smell is something you have to get used to though. The only thing they really should improve is warm outside showers. We used the mud bath and obviously you have to shower before you go back into the general area. But the water was icy cold. It was torture on a cold fall day. Inside they are all warm and nice though. The day we were there the water was 30 degrees Celsius and it was cool to see the steam above the water surface. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be in winter.
