We arrived at the restaurant 1.5 hours before closing. The atmosphere was immediately grounded by the elderly gentleman who was the waitress so we wouldn’t think too much about dinner because after 30 minutes the kitchen would close. After that, my wife and I thought we just wanted to have a drink. After ordering a drink, instead of my fibrous peach juice, my couple got something peach-flavored champagne .. (maybe diluted with soda ..) After that, the elderly gentleman recommended cold fruit soup because it was "made quickly." It was then that we decided that we would only have a drink at this place. Half an hour before closing (not many of us were already in the restaurant), leaving the bathroom, the old gentleman saw him and shouted at the lady at the counter, "Pack up because we're closing!" Then we asked for the bill and said goodbye to the elderly gentleman! I think you can always find a better restaurant in Hévíz!

Absolutes no-go und unhygienisch.
I can confirm everything that others report negatively. The waiter (around 60) fills the small bottles with sparkling water ... probably brings more sales. My daughter had observed this and someone else had already reported. Absolute no-go and unhygienic. Also, I can confirm that the stress is up and say the kitchen will close soon. Don't know why he does that .... he also mentioned the surrounding local negatively. Not a good place. Better go to the vineyards, where everyone seems very well attended and rated.

Food was okey, but we got a mineralwater bottle with a toothpick inside! When we complained about it, we saw waiter fill a waterbottle from sodamachine and brought it to our table. If I order a bottled water, I would expect it to be bottled someware else than in that restaurant.

Delicious food, pleasant environment, reasonably priced. Don’t miss the “Somloi”. Recipe of the owner! Excellent (see picture)

The service was unpleasant and we were overcharged. Firstly, they advertised with a daily menu that was unavailable. Then we ordered drinks. He served cheaper beer (Dreher) but charged us with the more expensive one (Pilsner Urquell). We ordered cola (menu stated it was 0,33l), but we received 0,5l which wasn't even on the menu. Then we ordered food. We wanted to try the goulash and pointed to the one without wine (which was cheaper). Yet he served and charged the more expensive one. We decided to let it pass (the food was good so why make the fuss) and paid. But then he just walked away without giving back our change. When we confronted him about the change he got angry, claiming we said he could keep it. Which is strange, because we don't even know how to say that in German.

We had visited this restaurant and bar to drink some beers. My nephew wanted to try the Breaded Chicken with sesame seeds and rice and we all decided to have dessert. All of this made a lot easier having some menus in English. The pancakes were delicious! Very friendly staff and compliments to the chef.
