★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A zsilip névadója Szabóky Jenő mérnök aki jelentős szerepet játszott az Őrjeg és a Kalocsai-Sárköz vízlevezetésének megtervezésében. A Pestmegyei Sárközi Ármentesítő Társulat mérnöke később az Ármentesítő Társulat igazgató-főmérnöke volt. A zsilip építésének időpontját sajnos nem tudom.
 The sluice is named after engineer Jenő Szabóky, who played a significant role in planning the drainage of Őrjeg and Kalocsai-Sárköz. The engineer of the Sárközi Flood Remediation Society of Pest County was later the director-chief engineer of the Flood Remediation Society. Unfortunately, I do not know the date of construction of the lock.
