Többirányból, kiépített sétányokon keresztül vagy a Petőfi út felől lépcsőn át közelíthető meg. Az eredeti épület gót stílusban kb a XIII. században épült. Újjáépítése barokk stílusban történt a XVIII. században. Többször is feújításra szorult (a torony villámcsapás következtében sérült) és az idők folyamán megváltozott mérete és stílusa már eltér a barokk templomtól.
Műemléki védelem alatt álló történelmi épület csendes, meghitt környezetben.
 In the center of Szakcs, on a hillside covered with trees, the church stands in a fenced garden right next to the home of the elderly. It can be approached through stairs from several directions, through walkways or from Petőfi út. The original building in Gothic style is about XIII. It was built in the 19th century. Reconstruction was done in Baroque style in the 18th century. century. He had to be refurbished several times (the tower was damaged due to lightning strike) and the size and style changed over time from the baroque church.
