Az Arborétum és a “Pepi-kert” története az olasz eredetű Bolza család nevéhez fűződik. Az államosítást követően az Arborétumnak számos gazdája volt. A terület egyre bővült, új gyűjtemények születtek. Az intézmény ma öt fás gyűjteményt gondoz 82 ha területen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A calm old jungle of ancient times. Ideal for relaxing walks or family outdoor programmes. Has a nice watchtower too. Entrance fee is very low.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a place for druids! So great and beautiful garden, where you can just get lost, because you don't want to get back to your urban reality. A thousands of trees and bushes, including the relict ones like ginkgo biloba or metasequoia. There are also some entertainments for children and some kind of wonder garden with small statues (I guess they use the biblical motives, but I am not sure). And you can also meat peacocks walking freely in the garden, and even buy your own ginkgo seedling!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was amazed when I was there. I really liked a Giant Mamut Tree that this place have. I not small, but when I was next to it, I never felt this small before. The only down thing that I experienced is the map that I got fron them. Either it wasn't accurate or the things that it showed wan't there. Apart from that I recommend everyone to go there at least once, but if you are there, visit the small Hungary park next to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful nature. Nice Forrest. We got there very early like 9 am. On a weekday. Therefore the ticket is cheaper but most importantly not too many people. An hour later sadly so many school students came?. We couldn't find the swamp cedar because there was no visible direction for it but otherwise was very very pleasant

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a nice place to visit with your family and wonder around the park, take a boat trip or visit the miniature Hungary park. You can even try out disc golf for one toss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ticket was quite expensive, especially on a weekend and without family discount (7700 forints for 2 adults and 1 child - almost 20 euros). It is basically a big forest with different trees which are marked only in Hungarian and with pathways that take you around. Many species, a thematic path and peacocks plus emu birds. There are occasionally some panels and the proximity of the river is pleasant. Lots of mosquitos included in the price. Add a castle in the tour and I will take the price gladly.
