Like the church itself, the complex of buildings forming the "downtown" of Szécsény, with its many colorful flowers, offers the image of a cozy little town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A templom eklektikus stílusban épült 1884 és 1892 között és Dr. Baltik Frigyes püspök szentelte fel 1899-ben. Északi oldala 27 méter magas, melynek tornyában majdnem 250 kg-os (243 kg) harang található. Oltára 2 méter hosszú, 2 méter széles és 4 méter magas. Az oltárképet Kubányi Lajos festőművész alkotta és az Úr feltámadását ábrázolja. 2011-ben felújították. Nagyon szép az egész tér és a városnak ez a történelmi része is.
The church was built in an eclectic style between 1884 and 1892 and was consecrated in 1899 by Bishop Dr. Frederick Baltik. Its northern side is 27 meters high, with a bell of almost 250 kg (243 kg) in its tower. Its altar is 2 meters long, 2 meters wide and 4 meters high. The altarpiece was created by the painter Lajos Kubányi and depicts the resurrection of the Lord. It was renovated in 2011. The whole square and this historical part of the city are very beautiful.
