Bought international, overnight, advance tickets. Woman helping us was knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Btw, this seems to be the only way to secure international departures from Hungary (physically going to the station) outside of Budapest which are available online with paper ticket pickup.

Very vast/roomy station, food for purchase, relatively clean. Very nice, only issue is there are a lot of stairs and if you are not willing to pay for elevator you will have to carry your luggage.

This is not a big railway station, about 5-6 station platforms. There are a lot of unused shops, but you can find the most important ones: you can buy sandwiches, newspapers, and tickets of course. Good to know that you can buy Budapest public transport tickets in newspapers stand next to the entry. You also can buy international tickets as well in the ticket office on the 1st floor. The waiting hall is big enough l, and there is a bit secluded ticket office for public transport of Szeged In the building there is a post office, but you can access it from outside.

Nicely renewed railway station, European level of services. Here you can change and buy tickets to local public transport as well.??????????

I visited from Budapest and it's well connected and not far from the city. The station was clean and look after. Although it may not nothing to do with the train station but buses, would be nice there was a connection more regular to Subotica as well. I would have loved to visit it but I had been told there is just a bus per day

Such a lovely, clean, tidy and elegant historic building! The details, such as staircases, windows, painted ceilings and, most of all, lights/lamps are just gorgeous! A nice welcome to the city, the centre of which is just 10-15 minutes away in foot (although a tram is also available just in front).
