It was built by the Carmelites between 1731-69. It has been operating as a seminary (priesthood) since 1801. Its bell tower is 61 meters high and its frescoes were made by Franz Anton Maulbertsch.

Franz Anton Maulbertsch festette a templom két oltárképét és freskóit 1768-ban. A templom szobrai és fa berendezési tárgyai a bajor származási szerzetes-szobrász Hauser Lőrinc alkotásai. A templom jobb oldali mellékkápolnájában őrzik a Prágai kis Jézus szobor két és fél évszázados viaszmásolatát, a bal oldali mellékkápolnájában pedig az ország egyetlen pestis-keresztje látható. A temlom látogatható, a mellékkápolnák csak bejelentkezéssel. The Carmelite monks who arrived in Fehérvár in 1689 built their monastery - today a priestly home and a church next to it - between 1731 and 1769. Franz Anton Maulbertsch painted the church altar and two frescoes in 1768. wood sculptures and equipment of the Bavarian monk-origin sculptor Lawrence Hauser works of the church. The temple is guarded by two and a half centuries of wax copy of the baby Jesus statue in Prague mellékkápolnájában right, is the country's only cross-plague in the left mellékkápolnájában.
