★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I. (Szent) István, születési nevén: Vajk; (975 körül – 1038. augusztus 15.) az utolsó Magyar fejedelem és az első Magyar király. Géza fejedelem és Sarolt fejedelemasszony fia. Az egyik első magyar katolikus szent, a Keresztény Magyar állam megteremtője, a magyar történelem kiemelkedő alakja és Magyarország fővédőszentje. Koponyacsontját Pannonhalmán, mumifikálódott jobb kezét Budapesten a Szent István bazilikában lévő Szent Jobb-kápolnában őrzik.
 I. (Szent) István, born: Vajk; (Circa 975 - August 15, 1038) is the last Hungarian prince and the first Hungarian king. Prince Géza and son of Princess Sarolt. He is one of the first Hungarian Catholic saints, the founder of the Christian Hungarian state, a prominent figure in Hungarian history and the patron saint of Hungary. His skull bone is kept in Pannonhalma, his mummified right hand is kept in the St. Right Chapel in St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest.
