Kiderült, hogy ez eredetileg lápos terület, csak most a kevés csapadék miatt száradt ki. A Duna-Tisza csatornában viszont volt víz, szép tiszta. At first I didn’t understand why this boardwalk is here, as the place is completely dry. It turned out that this was originally a marshy area, only now it has dried up due to little rainfall. However, there was water in the Danube-Tisza canal, it was pretty clean.

A sétány kb.1,5-2 km hosszú és könnyen bejárható,kutyával,gyerekkel és rázkódást bíró babakocsival is.Negatívumként a menetirányjelzés hiányát említeném,mert kicsit elkóboroltunk.Ja és több pad is lehetne.Amúgy nagyon tetszett a pallón való séta,a kilátó is.Madarat keveset láttunk,de az éneküket élvezhettük és a növények illatát szívem szerint dobozoltam volna.A nyomok alapján sok vad jár oda dagonyázni,inni,éjjel igazi vadles lehet a kilátó.A csatornában pedig láttunk egy hattyúpárt,5 kicsivel (nagyon aranyosak). The trail length is great for going with kids, there are small hills where they can run around near the long reeds and after rain there's water and wildlife. One of the hills has a lookout tower on top, in okay condition just heavily graffitid, with two levels and a great view over the reeds and the woods. The woods nearby have a tree planted for every child that was born in the town, with sections by year. Along the trail there are one or two signs up giving explanations about the history and the types of trees. On one of the path there's a stream with some bridges, on the other end, where we usually start there's a place to park the car next to the street and a playground. Altogether a sweet little "tanösvény" for a walk with the kids in the nature, we like coming here.
