 I recommend it clean, regular, exceptionally good kitchen, also for gluten sensitive people. Super nice staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was really delicious, service was nice, although it was fully crowded we (10 of us) were served in a timely manner.
Try their soups, their meat plates and stomach stew (called pacal).
Big parking lot for free, at the entrance. The restaurant inside is a little bit unfriendly, just tables and chairs, nothing on the wall. Free wifi, card is accepted.
All in all: food is 5, environment is 3.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most wonderful experience I had staying in this delightful hotel. My Grandmother was born in Kapuvár in 1887, and it is my first trip to Hungary. My husband and I were treated like royalty during our stay, and the food they served was just like my grandmother made when I was a child. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place. Great food, air conditioning (which is rare out here), wonderful staff. Nice clean beds and they even offered us complementary food. Felt like a very authentic experience, even if the English wasn't the greatest (but hey you come to Hungary, expect to hear Hungarian!) Generous portions too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad experience. The food was underwhelming, they served “mashed potato” made of instant powder, and the waiter was arrogant and completely incompetent. I would never come again.
I did see that they have a daily menu Monday to Saturday, a choice of two dishes at a very affordable price. That might worth a try.
