 The atmosphere was good just so quiet everyone was. Only I danced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Az ország egyik legszebb temetője, de sajnos elég leromlott állapotban van. Sok sírkövet elloptak, más sírokat meg átköltöztettek a Jáki úti temetőbe. A 2. vh. előtti városi elit díszes síremlékei közül néhány még ma is jó állapotban van.
It is one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the country, but unfortunately it is in a rather dilapidated state. Many tombstones were stolen, other tombs were moved to the Jáki út cemetery. The 2nd vh. some of the ornate tombstones of the pre-urban elite are still in good condition today.

Fewer and fewer people visit one of the oldest and longest-used cemeteries in Hungary. "St. Martin is the pantheon of the city, as the greats of Szombathely rest here," I quoted local historian Róbert Orbán. Let’s not miss this place and art historically valuable spot in the city.
