Előtte hatalmas kopjafa peckeskedik. Pro Patria a Hazáért hirdeti büszkén. A templom falának két mélyedésében két szent szobra áll. Szent Flórián és Szent Vendel ki-ki a maga jelképével figyeli a magasból Hédervár minden napi életét. Sajnos a templomba nem jutottam be, mint utólag kiderült bent egy 1031-es feliratú keresztelő kút található.
