Kicsit utánaolvasva: A kis barokk kápolnát a városban pusztító 1740-41-es pestisjárvány emlékére emelték Althann Mihály Károly püspök támogatásával, jórészt közadakozásból.
Nagyon szép a kék freskó! Kár, hogy nem lehetett bemenni, de szerencsére a rácsig nyitva volt a kapuja.
Well, this little chapel was a very nice surprise at the end of my tour in Vác!
After a little reading: The small baroque chapel was erected in memory of the plague of 1740-41, which destroyed the city, with the support of Bishop Károly Althann Mihály, mostly from public donations.
The blue fresco is very beautiful! Too bad it wasn’t possible to enter, but luckily its gate was open to the grille.
