It can be a bit too warm without shades on a hot summer day, but you can always retreat to the the town center filled with historical buildings, labyrinth-like alleys decorated with flowers, cafes and souvenir shops. The number of museums and galleries around the town is amazing. Worth multiple visits from Budapest on H5 commuter train without air-conditioning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old fashion cool place!!! Many old Serbian churches are sold to other religions.. just few of them are still Serbian original. Beautiful and quiet small old city, worth to visit it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for a quick day trip from Budapest to Szentendrei and it was probably the most chill experience because you get to appreciate the old town vibe, the clean air, away from the busy city streets.
It’s also a good place to hunt for souvenirs because most are handmade and also cheaper than the ones in the Budapest markets.
It’s also less than an hour away by train, really accessible and best enjoyed by introverts like myself because it’s not touristy. ?
