Little hotel, nice dinner and breakfast, friendly people. Not so nice is the small city around, nothing to work. Only walking around. Enough for max. 2 days. Recommended for family with kids or overnight for travelling people.

We used the wellness as walk in guests. The jaccuzzi was cold, the toilet didn’t work, none of the showers worked in the wellness section, there was no hot water in the dressing room, the shower was ice cold, I had to go home without being able to take a shower, do my hear! When I reported this to the director, he said the wait a half an hour (in swimmsuit), maybe by than the boiler heats up the water in the shower!!! Obviously it wasn’t the boiler the problem!

In short: this hotel is not a bad place, but it is just far away from what its name and website suggest. I have no clue what makes this a four-star place as basically everything about this hotel is average. I especially wonder what the claim "bio and art" supports: nothing, but really nothing is "bio" about the place! I have been to places advertising "bio and eco" and my absolute minimum expectation would have been to find e.g. an eco-friendly solar-heated swimming pool or fresh farmers' eggs from the farm next door or stuff like that for breakfast. Negative. We came here because we had a voucher that we received as a gift, but I have no idea what all the other guests, only Hungarians, came for...the hotel was almost fully booked. There is practically nothing of interest nearby and the wellness area is small and quite worn down. In fact, not many guests actually used the wellness area and the people who did were definitely struggling to grasp the concept of wellness. There were children thrashing around in the pool, people chatting at pub-volume and running in and out of the sauna in slippers and bathing suits without staying more than 3 minutes. In fact we left after 2 hours and decided to drive around in the area to find a thai massage place, which we did (at the moment of booking the hotel one week prior to our stay we were told we would not need to bother booking a massage in advance just to find out at arrival that the hotel's massage parlor was booked out for the weekend - or more likely inactive). I like to come to a conclusion: although my review sounds very negative, I kind of enjoyed the stay, but mainly thanks to the sunshine, the thai massage and a very good restaurant we happened to find in the next village. The Szepia Hotel is not a bad place, - but if you expect a four-star arrangement, a four-star service, a four-star organic breakfast and a relaxing four-star wellness experience you will be very disappointed.

These hotel is about 15-mile away from Budapest. It's OK for team building events or short stay; however, I wouldn't choose this for a private weekend. It has a spa with Finnish sauna and steam bath and in and outside pool. The kitchen is decent, even good; but not a wow experience.

Lovely place. Great location and very tasty food, nice rooms, staff is kind. The wellness is also beautiful but pretty small.

Surprisingly low quality food (not “bio” at all) and uncomfortable, sturdy mattresses and linens in the rooms. It’s more like a rural American-style motel than a nice little hotel of the Zsambek basin.

I'm not a big fan of hotels but this joint is good for a max 2 nights stay if you would like to do some sports (squash or tennis, the gym is poor) and relax in the pool or sauna. The staff is friendly, the food is OK (if you're not vegan or vegetarian) and they are dog friendly. Avoid the attic rooms and pick one facing the garden (the side towards the parking lot is quite noise) if possible.
