Ismerek olyan helyet,ahol állandóan nyitva van a templom ajtaja.?? Just because I wanted to go in but unfortunately the inner door was closed! L	László Oroszlány on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nagyon szép a templom, előtte a tér is rendezett. Sajnos zárva volt, pedig a nyitva tábla ki volt rakva. "A templom a Szentháromság tiszteletére épült. Még a templom felépítése előtt a ferences atyák püspöki engedéllyel megalapították a Szentháromság társulatát. A társulatnak a hitélet elmélyítésén kívül szociális feladatai is voltak. A szegények számára háromszögletű ládácskákba tették adományaikat. Ami egész évben összejött, azt a Szentháromság ünnepén – ami a templom búcsújának napja – elosztották a legjobban rászorulók között. A Szentháromság kultuszának jelével mindjárt a nagytemplom főbejáratánál találkozhatunk. Két angyal között ott látható a Szentháromság kőből faragott szobra (1752-ből), melyet a 250 éves jubileumi évfordulóra sikerül helyreállíttatni eredeti szépségébe! A főoltár 1889-ben készült el a mai formájában, tehát jóval későbbi, mint a mellékoltárok. (az előző a torony bedőlés miatt ment tönkre) A hármasan tagolt főoltár alsó képe a Szentháromságot ábrázolja (olajfestmény), mellette szent Péter és Pál szobra. A középső mezőben a mennybe fölvett Boldogasszony képe, mellette szent Ferenc és szent Antal szobrával, a felső szinten szent István király felajánlja országát a Magyarok Nagyasszonyának. Mellette szent Katalin és szent Erzsébet szobra látható. Az oltár impozáns felépítményét a Golgota jelenete fejezi be: a megfeszített mellett a fájdalmas Anya és szent János apostol szobra. A ferences atyák a hitélet irányítása mellett a 19. században óriási részt vállaltak a város kulturális életében, főleg az oktatás területén. 1817-ben szerződést kötött a város bírája a szerzettel, melynek értelmében átveszik a „nemzeti fiúiskolát”. Később ezt bővítették, majd (1835-ben) felépült a 6 tantermes iskola (Templom u.10.) A 48-as szabadságharc idején kórházzá alakították át, majd különféle nehézségek miatt csak 62-ben tudták folytatni az oktatást. 1887-ben az állami gimnázium megalakulásával szűnt meg a ferencesek ez irányú tevékenysége." In the middle field is the image of the Blessed Virgin taken to heaven, next to it with the statue of St. Francis and St. Anthony, on the upper level St. Stephen King offers his country to the Lady of the Hungarians. Next to it is a statue of St. Catherine and St. Elizabeth. The imposing structure of the altar is completed by a scene from Golgotha: the statue of the painful Mother and St. John the Apostle beside the crucified one. In addition to directing the faith, the Franciscan fathers took a huge part in the cultural life of the city in the 19th century, especially in the field of education. In 1817, a city judge entered into a contract with the monk, under which they would take over the “national boys’ school ”. Later it was expanded, then (in 1835) the 6-class school was built (Templom u.10.) It was transformed into a hospital during the War of Independence 48, and then, due to various difficulties, they could only continue their education in 62. In 1887, with the establishment of the state grammar school, the activity of the Franciscans in this direction ceased. "
