Számos világ-, Európa-, és olimpiai bajnok űzte és jelenleg is űzi ezt a fantasztikus sportágat a Holt-Tisza vizén. A mai napig sok országos bajnokságot, válogatót tartanak itt a pálya adottságai miatt.
A hagyománynak és a megújuló körülményeknek köszönhetően több magyar válogatott sportoló és külföldi válogatott együttes készül Szolnokon."

Our city has a long tradition of “wet” sports, of which the kayak-canoe boasts outstanding results.
Numerous world, European, and Olympic champions have pursued and are currently pursuing this fantastic sport on the waters of the Dead Tisza. To this day, many national championships and selectors are held here due to the characteristics of the track.
Thanks to the tradition and the renewed conditions, several Hungarian national team athletes and foreign national teams are being made in Szolnok. "
