In the park in front of the village house we can see the work of István Szervátiusz, which commemorates the desire of the people of Őrség to live. The inscription on the bell cast in Somoróc in 1923 is the only memory not destroyed by the local servants of the dictatorship from the east. The bell is inscribed: "It was acquired by the population of the village of Szomorócz in 1922 in memory of the liberation from Yugoslav rule." On the 80th anniversary of his return, in 2002, Kercaszomor was awarded the title of “Communitas Fortissima Comitatus Vas”.
