From Balatonederics through the entire Tapolca River to Usa is a beautiful panorama. The chapel is in very nice condition.

Nice location, nice view, nice church.

Wonderful view that even Lake Balaton (a small part) can fit in!

A little interesting about the chapel (source: geocaching.hu): Mary's Chapel: The construction of the chapel on Máriahegy above the settlement is connected with the fate of miraculous apparitions. In common parlance, however, there has been no wonder since there has been a chapel. The construction of the chapel also floats in the same timeless gloom as the magnificent visions themselves. Most sentence versions include a large walnut tree that was said to have stood on the site of a later chapel. Among the foliage of this, the Virgin Mary was seen by the vines watching the vines. They noticed several times of great brightness, and then in the middle of the brightness they saw the Virgin Mary. After the incident, the pipes attached the image of the Virgin Mary to the walnut tree, after which many people went to the tree adorned with the image, first only from Lesenceistvánd, later from Lesencetomaj, and then from further afield. The miraculous brightness was said to be repeated several times, and as long as the visits of the Virgin Mary lasted, snow always remained under the famous walnut tree. Legend has it that the chapel was built on the site of a former walnut tree. Interestingly: there are still 2 walnut trees in front of the chapel ... The chapel offers a wonderful view of the entire Tapolca Basin and the witness mountains of the Balaton Uplands.
