Wonderful excursion place in a quiet environment. The atmosphere of the place is stunning and captivating. We arrived early in the morning: the sight was fabulous.

"A templomot Szt. András tiszteletére a XIV. század elején élt Dörögdi Miklós egri püspök és rokonainak ősei építették. 1339 előtt a püspök átépíttette kora-gótikus stílusban. A templomot és környező településeket, 1548-ban pusztították el a törökök. A török pusztítást tovább tetézte a romos templom 1840-es felrobbantása, hogy építőanyagot nyerjenek az uradalmi magtárhoz."
