Prices not the most reasonable.
Overwhelming twee lounge music although restaurant itself well presented.
Staff somewhat abrupt in manner and often felt pressurised to order quickly. Not the place for a slow leisurely meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of us ordered a type of coffee drink (melange) that wasn't on the menu, the server said he would make it for us anyway but then just brought a plain old cappuccino with a bottle of honey. When the person who asked for it mentioned it isn't what she expected, the server lectured her that he works (or worked) at another cafe and they always made it like that so she must be wrong. We then googled it and it definitely wasn't what it looked like on the pictures. We appreciated the good intention of the server and him making the effort but it wasn't right after all we could have done without the awkwardness of the debate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time at the Balaton, this was also the first restaurant we saw.... and we never went anywhere else in the three nights we stayed here. Well done! ?? I can recommend the Wiener schnitzel and the different flavoured pizzas. Delicious.
