★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New carts but everything else was gross. The store was untidy the fruits and vegetables were old and withered. Prices are high. Tesco has fallen big time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place used to be tops although not all stores can be tagged this way. Since the Covid 19 'crisis' I would definitely downgrade this English chain but not because of what the chain is supposed to offer vs what it actually offers but I also believe this is all connected to the latest hype of pandemics, local culture and politics and the general mindsets of the people. Question also arise all the time about whether Tesco stores will remain in Hungary or not. I personally think that they should remain since it gives a slightly different aspect to merchandising between the English and German chains in this part of Europe and definitely more balance. We'll include some of the French chains too to the increasingly competitive ways to make soup. At one one time Hungary was far ahead in the above game but some of its neighbours are quickly catching up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tesco....in Beretyoujfalu ...not bad but not what it user to be. IN fact you have 2 other stores but in Debrecen.
The stores in the larger city - near the Airport and the one larger one not far from the center of the city (Debrecen) are better stocked. My personal preference is the one closest to the center of Debrecen and it seems to be the largest even though it too suffered în the past few years whether because of economics or the so called pandemic - Covid....how soon the world forfetar where the virus

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pleasant experience, a small negative for the shopping carts ? and for the fact that not all of the personal of the small shops nearby are always there. The " Langos" in the parking lot was delicious! ?
