★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Refrigeration constantly breaking down. Vegetables and fruit not worth giving to pigs, consistently on the edge of going rotten and regularly see rotten items on display. Meat and deli counters have a habit of closing up 3 hours before closing time, especially at weekends. Management just don't care. Floors usually dirty, toilets broken down, substandard products and very over-priced. My son, who now lives and works in Budapest, tells me that our Tescos simply wouldn't be allowed to exist there. It is that ****ed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful with the cashiers, some of them are thieves, they put items several times on the bill (I only had one pack of 4 Heineken). Unfortunately I only realized outside at the parking and I didn’t want to return and start a discussion in Hungarian. And the elder lady looked so innocent…
