K	Kevin Cruickshank on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the two meals was OK, service was incredibly poor, the staff seemed to sulk after being asked to take our order as if it was too much effort. Despite the length of time we sat and waited for someone to come and see us, it wasn't busy. They took our order, we then waited ages for the food. At the end we went to pay, we're handed with a eftpos machine and that was that. No thanks or any other grunt. So many better food options where the service will be at least friendly.
J	Jessie Mn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID AVOID AVOID !! TOURIST We visited while on holiday and the staff were unbelievably rude ! We we asked where the salt was for our cardboard flavoured fries! The women laughed like it some kind of joke. Then processed to say it’s over there. Then began talking and laughing in Hungarian. Later we went to pay the bill,the food was so awful and the drinks were over priced.We was told that one person had to pay the entire bill as they did not have the capacity to pay the bill in 2 half’s. As we had a group of friends with us we all wanted to pay for own drinks and food. But it was too difficult to them apparently.

What i ate was a chicken salad was delicious and my boyfriend had a burger.. hes not been able to eat since. Its the only meal we had different from each other. So pin pointed to this pub. If you are ordering the burgers check they are fully cooked inside.. Hopefully he will be better soon. Server were excellent and attentive
L	LaNoisetta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Pointer Pub is quite better than the other we visited during our Christmas Holidays in Budapest. Some waitresses and waiters are nice and polite. But overall the staff is not super good! We ordered some tortilla chips from the Menu and they told us it is finished. Then right after this, we saw other people being served the chips that were supposed to be finished! It is strange. Place is nice, atmosphere is nice, food is OK, beers are nice, prices are low.

The bartender ignored us for 10 minutes although there weren't that many people in the pub. Eventually we ordered 5 drinks but received only 4. The fifth only came after 20 minutes and after many futile attempts to get the staff's attention. And after all that we were charged more than we ordered. After asking the waiter (whose English is almost non-existent), we were told that they ran out of the tap beer we ordered so they poured us another, more expensive kind, without ever asking or at least telling us. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place.

D	Dvouge on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The potatoes were delicious even if they were frozen! And the coleslaw salad absolutely divine ! The best I've ever eaten! But we weren't impressed with the burger..It was decent....I mentioned that i want the chicken meat to be well done, but it was not served that way. We didn't necessarily choose this restaurant based on the reviews, but because it was a pub close to where we were walking and we were very hungry. We noticed that many tourists and locals choose it to have a drink there with friends, and we also think that it would be an ideal place for that. Our recommendation: choose to drink here, you can easily go elsewhere to eat. ? (Picture taken in September 2021)
