The statue of József Róna has been standing in front of the former building of the Premonstratensian monastery since 1931, now the main building of St. Stephen's University. Prince Kálmán, II. Andrew's son was a benefactor of the Order, so he was commemorated. He died young when he was wounded in the battle of Muhi. A certain body part of the horse has a magical power in college folklore :))

The statue of Prince Kálmán of Árpád House was erected on September 27, 1931 in front of the convent of Premontre (now the main building of St. Stephen's University). The bronze equestrian statue is the work of József Róna. Prince Kálmán (1208-1241) father, II. Andrew did it to King Halic when he was six years old. And although he had to flee here because of internal uprisings, he held his royal title for the rest of his life. As compensation, he received the county of Spiš from his father. This is how he came into contact with the Premontre monks who built their monasteries in Jászó. He helped with the construction with donations of property and money. In 1226, Prince Kalman was appointed Croatian ban. In the battle of Muhi, he marched at the head of his Croatian troops against the Tartars. He died of his injuries there in 1241. The establishment of the Gödöllő Institute was made possible in part by the income of the estates received from Prince Kálmán. Remembering this, the Premontreys erected a statue for him; on both sides of the pedestal of the statue also the portrait of Archbishop Ugrin of Kalocsa and Jakab Montreal, Grand Master of the Knights Templar, who fell in the battle of Muhi.
