Tifliszo Étterem is, in a single word, excellent! My knowledge of the Georgian cuisine was minimal before coming here, but now I'm trying to eat my way through the menu card. So far, everything's been delicious! Alexander is a great host, too. He always makes me and my friends feel at home ?

Good place to eat.. the food quiet nice.. sadly they do not speak hungarian but for me that was ok. DIfferent than usual which is nice..at least worth a try.

Good place, better than the other Georgian place in Budapest. Nice service but don't forget to check your bill at the end - sometimes they include items you ordered but which were never served.

Having heard Georgian meats are nice, so I tried Tifliso while I was walking along the Vaci street to the Cathedral. The food quality was good, but I found the taste a bit bland. The three sauces they offered didn't have much flavor. If the food are prepared to bring out the true essence and flavor of the produce and meats, then, better quality products should be used and cooked for perfection. The dumplings were the highlight though :) Yummy!! I tired the fried ones. They have boiled ones, but since their sauces are a bit bland, I wouldn't like it. Yet, that's my taste preference. The service was quite slow, and they took a long term to prepare the food. However, the waiters were quite friendly and spoke English. The premise was clean and nice. Having lived in Budapest a year, I have gotten used to slow service, and don't expect too much and get upset for late service. When service is fast and kind, I receive them with gratitude and humbleness, haha :)

Absolutely fantastic authentic food served in a charming place, definitely would recommend if you want to try something new! Menu is available online, staff provides recommendations as well. Great price to quality ratio.

Great place. Food was amazing and very tasty. Very nice service. The waiter was very attentive and showed good customer service. Prices are moderate even low for that kind of restaurant. I recommend it for everyone. The setting is supposed to remind you of Georgia, and it does. The location is very good, situated in a lovely street.

Good value for money, genuine georgian food, generous portions, served on presentable plates, in a calm atmosphere. There is a broad variety of different courses, including salads, cheese, soups, meat and bread. Some of them speaks Georgian, Russian and Italian. They seem to have regular customers in addition to the international guest, that’s a good sign. The red vines in the menu seem to be light, fruity, simple and easy to like and would be a good match to a broad range of the food (except salads, fish and chicken). If I should also come up with some feedback on what could be better: The vine chart could be even better accommodated to the food, by for example adding a few orange vines as they are easy to match on this kind of food, and have a tasting to reassure that all the vines have enough acidity (especially the white ones) to handle the fat in the so often used cheese. In the busy hours, it could be necessary to increase the number of staff to handle the huge amount of people.
