★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped off briefly at the fish steps on our drive back to Budapest. The dam and fish steps are interesting structures to see, but the real highlight was the huge number of fish traversing the final step. Hundreds of large silver carp can be seen congregating in the pool, with a handful of other species, including carp and huge catfish. Viewing windows allow you to watch the fish underwater, which, as a fish lover and angler I found quite addictive. Don't forget your polarising sunglasses!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This "river steps" help the fishes to go through the dam and enter to the Tisza lake from the Tisza river. One of the longest ecological building in Eastern Europe. It looks amazing, also good for chilling walking and small hiking.
