★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A könyvtár az 1538 óta folyamatosan működő Református Kollégium igényei-hez igazodott annak szolgálatában for-málódott. Ősnyomtatványokat, könyv-ritkaságokat őriz, jelentős a korábbi évszázadokból származó külföldi folyóirat gyűjteménye. Jelentős részben magánszemélyek által adományozott könyvekkel is gyarapodott a könyvtári állomány. Színvonalas iskola soha nem működhetett könyvtár nélkül, így az intézmény minden bizonnyal egyidős a Református Kollégiummal.
 The library was adapted to the needs of the Reformed College, which has been operating continuously since 1538. It preserves ancient prints and book rarities, and has a significant collection of foreign journals from previous centuries. The library stock also increased significantly with books donated by private individuals. A quality school could never function without a library, so the institution is certainly the same age as the Reformed College.
