Tóth Ferenc egri borászról sok minden eszünkbe juthat: megszállott borász, a kadarka nagykövete, a Várvédő megálmodója, megannyi rangos díj birtokosa. Munkája elismeréseként 2013-ban megválasztották a 2012-es év egri borászának, 2018-ban pedig a 2017. év Egri Szőlőtermelőjének. Nagy erőt ad számara és mindenben segíti felesége, akivel ötven éve élnek házasságban. Együtt indultak a szőlő és bor felé, együtt építették fel a családi gazdaságot.

A nagy forgalom ellenére is nagyon profi kiszolgálásában volt részünk, mindig fordítottak ránk elég figyelmet. Máskor is szívesen visszamegyünk egy jó hangulatú délután, estére. We went to the Szépasszonyvölgy for a 7-item Superior wine tasting. Despite the high traffic, we had a very professional service, they always paid enough attention to us. Other times we are happy to go back for a good afternoon, evening.

Köszöntünk, köszönt de nem igazán érdekelte a jelenlétünk, látszott hogy valamivel el van foglalva. Várakoztunk picit, majd elmondtuk mit szeretnénk és kóstoltunk. Hihetetlenül finom borok vannak itt, egy egri leánykával érkeztem haza. Ha legközelebb Egerben járunk, ismét betérünk. We arrived on 12/08/2021. When we entered, we had a couple more wine drinks besides us. The gentleman who served was so strange. We greeted, greeted but not really interested in our presence, it seemed to be busy with something. We waited a bit and then told us what we wanted and tasted. There are incredibly fine wines here, I came home with a girl from Eger. Next time we go to Eger, we'll come in again.
P	Paul Golding on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful wines and friendly staff in a great setting! Visiting from Australia this was our first stop to try Hungarian wine. We met Attila in the cellar, who proved to be an excellent host. He took us patiently through the range and explained the important Hungarian varietals and the local winemaking processes. We tried most of the range during our 3 hour visit and purchased quite a few. The wine-maker here is outstanding- we loved the Kadarka, Kefrankos and Cabernet Franc, also the famous "Bull's Blood" among the reds. Don't miss their incredible Rhine Riesling and the Leanka among the whites. Many thanks to Attila for the help, he's a great representative for Eger wine and for Toth Ferenc.
A	Alice Fardel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great wine tour! We were 5 guests participating in the 4-hour wine tour offered by Toth Ferenc. It included a large selection of wine testing, rosé, whites and delicious reds. We were also offered snacks (local cheeses and charcuterie), a special tour of the cellar and visit of the vineyards. The vineyard tour was very beautiful with the colors of fall. The two guides also drove us to a special point of view in the vineyards which was gorgeous. Our host Peter was super friendly and welcoming! Great experience overall :)

We had questions regarding the wine making process and the vineyard itself and I believe that we recieved satisfying answers. They produce both reductive and conventional wines so a wide range of consumers can taste their wines. I must highlight that "siller" wines are available. The labels on the battles shows that they make serious effort to have a uniqe design. (And they have an elegant wine catalouge also.) I like the matrices style design and the animal illustrations. However the logo should be more memorable since not every bottle wears the previously mentioned design. I believe that the pricing is reasonable. I recommend it for special events and for everyday supper also.
