★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Tourinform megszűnt itt, a régi városházán viszont megtalálhatóak a Református Nagytemplom mögötti kertben, nagyon segítő készek. :)
Tourinform has been discontinued here, but can be found in the old town hall in the garden behind the Great Reformed Church, very helpful. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last Thursday, I was in Debrecen, trying to get to Oradea in Romania. Rome2Rio and other apps only offered a solution that would have dropped me off there very late. So I tried the tourist information, where three delightful ladies were handling all kinds of requests. After stating my challenge, one of the women started working the computer but told me after 5 minutes that she would need some time, if I might want to come back after a drink?
I was quite sure this would be a brush off; nonetheless, I arrived 1 hour later: the lady handed me a printout with a very detailed explanation how to get to Oradea, which was quite convoluted. However, the bus connections got us there, we not only made it on time but with hours to spare... professionalism at it's best, thank you once again!
