I went with some friends for a Sunday lunch and I was so happy to show them some Italians dishes. Unfortunately, even if the food was good, the service was not Italian at all. The waiter made fun of my Italian accent (.. ) and he didn’t even understand one of my requirements, he was not able to tell if the ravioli were dry or with the broth. But the best part was when we had to pay, the girl at the cassa was making problems for everything and she got even angrier when I wanted to check the bill before paying. I am a proud Italian woman in Budapest, but for sure I will avoid this place and I won’t recommend it either.

I’ve been to this restaurant about 4 years ago when I first visited Budapest and now that I’m living here, I come every now and then to find out the quality or service hasn’t changed a bit and it still as great as I knew it to be - everything from the fresh pasta to the amazing lasagne, wine selection or to die for tiramisu keeps me coming back. Keep it up!

Original, tasty and a feeling like in Italy! Traditional dishes made with an modern twist. For an Italian experience in Italy? Worth visiting. Pay attention to the season of the tomatoes, cause in can make a difference

Friendly waiters and waitresses, food was ok. The tomato soup was below average. Didn't taste real tomato soup but rather made from can, also wasn't warm enough. The other food was fine.

Their pizzas are the most authentic ones. The best part is the garlic oil which is provided on the table. It increases the taste of the pizza exponentially. Freshly baked, this would be an ideal place for all the authentic pizza lovers.

Was better a few years ago, but still solid. As it turns out the chef must have been in love, since i Caesar salad was ridiculously salty, of course they had it replaced in a sec. Wonderful service, servers ultra nice.

Old-style Italian restaurant featuring a good selection of pizza and pastas, as well as some fish and seafood. It would be a stretch to call the meat selections "Italian." there are none of the classic veal dishes, for example, but there's enough to satisfy any carnivore. As we were there at lunch, we didn't look too closely at the wine offerings. Service was good and prices reasonable. My wife ordered the salmon fillet with spicy tomato sauce, capers, olives and zucchini chips with the pan-roasted mixed vegetables, and I ordered a "capricciosa" pizza with a fresh mixed salad. The salmon was cooked properly and of good quality and the sauce not overpowering. The accompanying vegetables were nicely done but otherwise unimaginative. My pizza was a mixed bag, as it suffered from soggy mushroom pizza syndrome. The dough was nicely thin and the edge crust crisp and tasty and well baked The toppings - prosciutto ham, mushrooms, artichokes, olives and Parmesan - were also tasty. But the mushrooms were sliced much too thickly and produced an abundance of water while baking, causing a large part of the center of the pizza to be sopping wet and mushy. Slicing the mushrooms very thinly can prevent this. The portions were more than adequate, and we both declined dessert and walked out totally stuffed.

BEST PIZZA IN BUDAPEST! If u will be in budapest and u enjoy an italian food - its must have. I was surprised about food and also prices! food better than in many Italian restaurants! I recommend!
