Már 1932-ben megtervezték, és eredetileg a városban akarták felállítani, a török ostrom 400. évfordulójára. A helyszín egy régi kőfejtő felett helyezkedik el, ahonnan szép kilátás nyílik Ausztria felé. Érdekessége, hogy pont az elcsatolt területek felé néz, illetve hogy megépítése után nem sokkal, építettek egyet a túloldalon is válaszul. A hidegháború éveiben a szigorú határőrizet miatt nem volt látogatható (ahogy a hegység számos más rész sem). Ez idő tájt a katonák céltáblának használták, ma is láthatók a golyó lyuggatta nyomok. 1993-ban felújították. The cross was built in 1936 as a memento of the Trianon peace dictatorship. Mamár csak a"három halom és a kereszt" van meg az eredeti tartalmazta a "Trianon felíratott, a koronát és a kettös keresztet" is, de ennyi maradt meg , ez is több mint a semmi . Számomra külön élményt nyújtott, hogy az előtte felkeresett Kálvária templom előtt a Pannon síkság végtelenje látható, innen pedig már a hegyek világa. Worth to visit. Érdemes az Ördögárok tanösvény felől megközelíteni, akkor a Szulejmán kilátó is útba ejthető egy 10 perces kitérővel.
