 We can see interesting rocks in the quarry. There is a small clearing in front of it with benches and a fireplace.

"A Tündér-hegyi kőfejtőben a múlt század elején még porló dolomitot bányásztak, mára kiváló pihenő- és kirándulóhely lett. A bányászott anyag felső triász korú, könnyen porló, fehér, szarukő-mentes kőzet volt. A szikla természetes alakot mutat, mászásra azonban egyáltalán nem alkalmas instabil szerkezete miatt.
A kőfejtőt 1978-ban nyilvánították védetté.
A pihenőhelyen jelenleg egy tűzrakóhely van asztalokkal és padokkal, valamint egy nagyobb tér, ami labdajátékokra is alkalmas."

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An old quarry, the trail up to Janoshegy is with a really nice view to the city, although I imagine it can be dangerous if it's been raining.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect way to spend the weekend, it was a nice get away from the city and the people though do not have to travel that far out.
Highly recommended taking food and water with you cause once you started the hike, there are not much in it except the wood
Some path in the woods would be lack of sign you won't get lose but don't start the journey in late afternoon cause you might have trouble finding way out.
There is park and pretty of space for kids to totally burst out their energy.
