According to another version, collected by Tünde Szalainé Hécz, an educator who also dealt with the local history of Kunsziget, she preserved the hair of fairies among the treasures of the former lord of the castle, and when the tower burned down, she regretted the locks the most. All versions of the legend mention that the fairies that became the stone form a very strong bond with the tower, and whoever tries to break up the remnants of the tower goes to leek. Science also created its own theory: a Roman watchtower that once belonged to the limes stood there. However, science is the science of constantly doubting unproven claims. Divers and archaeologists are researching underwater remains. After 2000, several archaeological researches were conducted in the area. In 2004, diving archaeologists found that the wall visible on the shore also continues in the water. The building may have been a harbor, even more fortified with a harbor. Examination of the sediment layer suggests that the building may have been built more in the Middle Ages, sometime during or after the Turkish occupation. However, the land hides additional treasures near the Fairy Castle, and settlements from different eras are waiting to be explored around the Fairy Castle.
