És így már sokkal szimpatikusabb az egyház is. The place made a particularly pleasant impression on me. I was at a concert for the Jews for Jesus tonight, and this Reformed church gave him a seat. I am neither Jewish nor Reformed, but I am happy about that. It is especially good to have a large cross on the wall, which is not the case in other Reformed churches. This is likely a sign and place of acceptance. And so the church is much more sympathetic.

A Budapest-Északi Református Egyházmegye 2002 őszén indította meg a szervező munkát a Pestújhely-Újpalotai Gyülekezet segítségével és 2005-ben már önálló egyházközséggé vált az újpalotai gyülekezet. A templom tervezése és építése 2015/16-ban kezdődött. Az épület helyét a kerületi önkormányzat 99 évre a református egyháznak adományozta. A terveket Kertész Balázs építész készítette, a kivitelező az A-PONTON Mérnökiroda Kft.volt. A különleges, szép templomot 2018. június 3-án szentelték fel. Construction of the Újpalota housing estate began in 1969, but at that time no church was considered. The Budapest-Northern Reformed Diocese started the organizing work in the autumn of 2002 with the help of the Pestújhely-Újpalota Congregation, and in 2005 the Újpalota congregation became an independent parish. The design and construction of the church began in 2015/16. The site of the building was donated by the district government to the Reformed Church for 99 years. The plans were made by architect Balázs Kertész, the contractor was A-PONTON Mérnökiroda Kft. The special, beautiful church was consecrated on June 3, 2018.

Külön tetszett a fenti gyermekes szoba, ahol külön tudnak lenni a kisgyerekkel érkezők. One of the most beautiful modern churches I’ve ever been to, plus the services are held in a modern way, with guitar and drums. I especially liked the room with children above, where those arriving with small children can be separate.

In many cases, my path leads me, but being a Reformed, so I do not visit, but the apartment where I live to see the church, and even over the years I was able to follow the construction of the church.
