The operation of a microwave barrier is very simple and similar to the infrared barriers. The transmitter unit emits electromagnetic beam using high frequency microwaves that passes to the receiver unit, creating an invisible but sensitive extensional detection zone. When the receiver unit detects a change in the condition of the beam, begins an accurate analysis, and if it’s considered as real intrusion, provides an alarm signal. Microwave barriers can be used in perimeter protection of solar power plants, prisons, logistic centers, airports, power plants, refineries, military objects, but also in the residential area. ProPer has two product series, the professional, digital and addressable Predix microwave detector, which operates on 24 GHz fequency, and the other one is the more simple, analog BM microwave detector, which operates on 10,5 GHz.cable up to 500m.
