★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1772-ben gróf Festetics Pál 3 osztályos gimnáziumot alapított Keszthelyen. A gimnáziumot többször is meg akarták szüntetni, fennmaradásáért meg kellett küzdeni. A mostani épületet 1892. augusztus 23.-án avatta a város a Schadl János tevei alapján.
Közel 130 éves gimnázium épülete a város színfoltja.
In 1772, Count Pál Festetics founded a 3-grade grammar school in Keszthely. The grammar school was to be abolished several times, and its survival had to be fought for. The present building was inaugurated on August 23, 1892 by the city based on the camels of János Schadl.
The nearly 130-year-old high school building is the highlight of the city.
