★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My pics are so ugly but Veszprém is such a hidden masterpiece of Hungary. I rarely see Veszpém in the list of beautiful cities in Hungary to visit on the Internet but its beauty with nature and lovely architecture can blow your mind.
Definitely worth a 2-day visit because the vibe there is suitable for relaxing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historic place, part of the world heritage. Since the founding of the state, the seat of the rulers, burial monuments in the original early Christian churches, royal tombs. It is the scene of many traditional cultural events and exhibitions.
Here you will find the Episcopal Palace and the institutions of the Hungarian Catholic Church.
From here you can access Mount Calvary to the Staties, at the end of which is the same statue of Christ as Rio de Janeiro.
