It was a family-friendly environment with good opportunities for relaxing and having fun. The place provides services that are free of charge, such as using indoor wellness area with pools and sauna, outside pools with slides, beach volleyball, billiard, tennis court and football ground. Although they have balls for the games, I suggest everybody to bring balls for football and volleyball. You also have the opportunity to play bowling at a relatively low price or enjoy a massage. The cocktails (normal or virgin) are cheap and tasty (especially virgin ones that require cream), the food that they provide guests with is sometimes very good, sometimes average, but it is never bad and it is always fresh. The houses are brick buildings with a terrace and a small balcony. Each house has enough rooms for 6-8 people at the same time. The kitchen is quite big and has a fridge, a microwave, a bin and all the basic stuffs you might need. A good knife would be a nice extra tool that you will need if you want to do a picnic with a campfire (they have spits for free or at a low price).

We came in early January, a couple of days before the renovation period. This may explain why the house we got was a bit worn out. Although there was no indication that we shouldn't expect alacarte at the restaurant, neither on the website, nor in the reservation confirmation. Despite this, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the buffet was one of the best you could wish for - great food. This is not my first time here, nor the last, thus I'm hoping I will get the chance to revise this rating. More maintenance and clear indication of service availability for specific periods would set the right expectations.

Fantastic place for a family holiday. We stayed in an Aqua Plus villa which was really quite amazing having your own swimming pool, not to mention access to the outdoor swimming pool and main indoor pool as well. Our children were 6 and 4 and we traveled in a group of 8, and this was just a perfect park for them. The playground was fantastic and has clearly been newly installed. Plus, in the last week of May/first week of June we managed to avoid Hungarian school holidays (not starting for a couple of weeks time), so in addition to lovely weather we felt we nearly had the park to ourselves. Very little to say critically. Perhaps I might say that bits of the apartment did feel a little 'tired' and it felt that somebody needed to take a screwdriver and paintbrush to a few bits, but this wasn't a problem. The kitchen could have done with a few more bits (it had plenty of shot glasses, but no bowls!) - but reception were very helpful when we asked for more. In fact, the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful overall. We had a lovely day trip to Tata (recommended waIk around the lake), and a lovely meal nearby. We also had a lovely walk into the nearby village (small shop there also) which is very pretty. We stayed in total 4 nights before travelling to budapest, which was perfect for the kids, but if we would have been going for a walking holiday I think we could have stayed a lot longer. Overall great and recommended.

Overall it was a good experience, however, there were a few issues with the apartment. The restaurant was amazing, the staff has been very kind and helpful. The apartment itself wasn't a big deal at all with a couple of things that should be fixed, like the damaged wall in the kid's room which was also extremely cold compared to other parts of the house. But for a price this low maybe it can be tolerated.

Villapark Várgesztes is a great place to spend the holiday at with family! House was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our baby. Food was delicious and I must emphasize that there was wide variety to choose from as each of us do different diet. Furthermore, when we came for breakfast or dinner just few minutes before closure, everything was still available, what is not common in other places. Personnel was very friendly and kind, thank you very much for that! This place definitely exceeded our expectations and we're looking forward to coming back next year.

Well the swimming is very good expecially now in the summer. The house rooms are very clean and self contained. The pun has cheap beers
