Cheap beer, nice staff

Not the best looking place, but the prices are okay, and they even have student discounts.

They didn’t serve us and sent us away although we arrived at 1.15 and they’re open until 2

Staff is very kind, prices are quite good. In a nutshell: good value for the money.

A casual place to have some drinks and watch some sport matches. It usually is very crowded on match nights and from Thursday to Sunday because it's really popular with the students. They have cheap drinks (a regular draft beer is around 300 HUF) and also a good selection of beers (ranging from draft options, regular bottled beers and more exotic beers like Horizont or 1664 Blanc), spirits (regular whiskey, vodka, rum etc.), shots, wines (usually served in the fröccs form - that's a wine spritzer) and some cocktails/special mixes (just ask the bartenders for their favourites). The staff is one of the friendliest I have ever met in Budapest. They speak English and are very nice (probably because they are constantly exposed to foreign students). The place is split into two parts: the downstairs with the bar, a few wooden tables (and some retro sewing machines converted into tables), a csocsó table and a big TV, and the upstairs part, with a lot more tables, a TV and sound system where you can put your own music and the bathrooms. Usually the downstairs part is a lot noisier than the upstairs part. All in all a cheap, nice place to hangout with friends for a few hours and have some drinks.
