I am very disappointed of this saloon. Please do not go there if you don't speak hungarian. We wanted to buy a mask for the hairs with my friend and the boss insulted us in hungarian because we didn't have cash ... She was very mean and started to be angry. I don't understand this kind of behavior. Plus she dare to have an english name for her saloon but she refuses to speak english and if you ask anything she will rudely reply in hungarian. Do not go there

I would give 6 stars if I could! I've been a customer since 2016 and will continue to be :) Extremely satisfied with their professionalism, quality of work, quality of products and the staff is amazing. I believe they are the best in the ombre/balayage or coloring business in general in Budapest and I love how they cut my hair. The staff is young, talented and highly trained and consult with you thoroughly on what would you like and what would best suit you. I'm also a loyal customer of Ivett :)

I love the salon. My hairdresser (sorry I forgot her name) is really nice as well as the receptionist. They clearly explained to me the aftercare of my brazilian blowout treatment without forcing me to buy their products. Price is just right. The seats aren’t that comfortable, not that fancy but it is overshadowed by their friendliness and sincerity. Above all, I love how my hair looks now! Köszönöm szépen!

Probably the best hair salon in Budapest. I dyed my hair, but based on my image of what I wanted they showed me a color catalogue and the hairdresser also gave me some advice based on my natural hair color. We came up with a final decision together and was really satisfied with the results. You can also buy silver shampoo from id hair. The only downside was that they only take cash and it cost me more than they told me on phone, so be sure to check their website and bring extra cash.

Anett Szemán is the best hairdresser I've ever met. I'm forever grateful for what she has done with my hair, not to mention how fun and pleasant is to chat with her every time I visit her. She is very knowledgeable, creative and precise. She does her job with amazing care, considers everything and explains what she knows very kindly. Thank you Anett for everything and can't wait to visit you again.

Been here twice now, first time for the last step to go blonde then 2 years later to get an ombre as I realised that full platinum wasn’t for me. Everyone at White Hair is very welcoming and professional and they are very good at what they’re doing. I live abroad but I will certainly return here again if I visit Hungary when it’s time for my hairdresser appointment (lot less now with the ombre!) 100% recommend these guys!

Been coming here for the past 3 years. They do a lovely blond color and copacabana. Recommended! During the summer though it can get quite hot inside if the AC is broken.

I had very high expectations for this salon seeing all of the positive reviews from over a thousand people. However, I would not recommend this salon to anyone who is a foreigner for sure or someone with darker hair who wants to make it lighter. I went in for balayage and I had a very specific idea and picture that I showed to the hair stylist appointed to me. Also, I brought a Hungarian friend with me to make sure the stylist would also understand me just in case she couldn’t speak proper English. She acted and seemed to understand exactly what I wanted and I trusted her with my hair. Obviously the end result was a huge disappointment. My hair did not turn out anything like the photos I showed her, and me and my Hungarian friend reminded her in English and Hungarian 3 times to color the front of my hair to match and blend with the back, and of course she ignored us 3 times. By the end of it, she said once I wash my hair twice the color will lighten. Obviously, it didn’t. We went back for a second round for them to fix up the mistake. However, while booking the appointment to fix the mistake, they couldn’t find my name in the system. Later on they found me in the system as “foreign girl” when they clearly asked for my name on the phone when I made my initial appointment. Long story short, the same hair dresser destroyed my hair the second time. To all the foreign girls, please do not make the mistake of going here, especially if you have darker hair. I now have to pay to fix my hair on top of the 25,550 HUF I paid to have the hair stylist ruin my hair!! Maybe I got unlucky with my hair stylist, but I will never go back there and I will not recommend it to anyone.
